Just bought a hx35! install Q.

I bought a stock turbo from a 95. hx35 with a 12cm wastegated exh side. Paid 225 from classified section. Question is I know it will bolt up but I am on serious budget due to time of year. Is it the same length front to back meaning am I gonna have dp problems or will it fit that too?

i think it would fit. does it have the cast elbow? if it does then you might have to clearence the firewall with that 5 pound piece of steel thingy on a stick.:tttt:

not sure have not received it yet. does anyone know what the eom style is for a 95. FYI reading a lot on these forums as i was looking stay away from EMUSE, those are the crap china ones.

I would imagine it would fit. easiest way is with that cast elbow but I completed my diesel with a super hx40 and that was complete custom made bends and downpipe

holset is the OEM. cummins actually owns the company

i had one on my truck for a short time the stock down pipe will work it is a bit of a pain to get on do to the fact that the exhaust housing of the hx35 is longer but so long as you leave the bottom mount on the down pipe disconnected you should be alset

If I'm poor and still saving for my gauges and have very mild pump tuning could i still be safe to put this turbo on with its 12cm wastegated exh. and not cause heat damage? its a 5spd trk.

Alot of members on DTR swear by the 12cm housing on 5peeds. It will be fine. You could always leave your stock exhaust housing on the truck and swap the rest.

hey bud you will be fine it will bolt up but will have to move the downpipe abit as far as egts you will be fine to did you post in the contest for the guages
