Not hard at all, they some times pop right out,
Remove the injector lines, then the hold down nut and pop em off. If they wont come out zip tie the fuel shut off on your pump to the OFF position, place a heavy towel over the injector to keep it from flying away and turn the engine over. Or you can use vice grips, just watch teh thread. Or you can make a simple tool to pull them. Found these pics a while back some where 3 1/2" 3/4 black pipe, a 3" bolt, and nut, some washers, and a nut that fits the injectors. I've done it that way, easy. Just make sure you put the towel over them. Do one at a time.
Also start soaking them with penetrating oil. |
will do. how about the copper seals?
|
Just make sure they come out. 9 times out of 10 they are stuck to the injector. If not use a pick to get them. All they are is copper washers.
