My 93 dyno numbers.

Well the 93 went on the rollers.
6X16's, 16 cm housing, 60 GDS wheel, fuel screw 3 turns out from max, light starwheel settings, smoke screw all the way out, M+H M2 fuel pin, piston lift pump, stock timming, stock 386 spring, no ksb hotwire, stock downpipe and transfer case pipe, rag with 4.10's. Ran in direct.

The run was 301 hp and 731 torque. No idea on corrected or not. ( that is greek to me ). Its a Mustang Dyno with Powerdine control unit. ( also greek to me ).

Max power was at 2400 rpm's and max torque was at 1900 rpm's.

Good job buddy! Got any vid?

Richie O 10-17-2009 09:48 PM

Don't forget bobby its got a rag also. Then again my 89 did 297 last year with a stock auto and stock sticks.:tttt::moon: Just kiddin!! So I thought it was funny that both my trucks are within 4 hp of each other. :rocking:

I did not get a video because I ran the truck on the dyno. They filmed it and are supposed to email me the clips. Not sure how they will come out.

Injectors and turbo and only 300 HP?

There's more to be had from tuning. Gotta be, especially with a Getrag and fuel supply taken care of.

What's your boost pressure?

He's running a REAL conservitave set-up Begle...

I have found that you will generally run lower RWHP numbers and higher torque numbers with a Mustang Dyno. I've run on Dyno Jet, Dyno Dynamics and Mustang dynos and my personal favorite is the Dyno Dynamics. To me it all comes down operator input and the Mustang has too much operator input. The rollers on a Dyno Jet weigh 5400 lbs - that in itself is a fairly good load for a "no load" dyno. There are however some "things" you can do to increase your numbers on a Dyno Jet. You can ride the brakes slightly until you see about 5 lbs of boost then make your run. You will see 15 to 30 more RWHP by doing this - this being said most operators will not allow you to do this.

The Dyno Dynamics Dyno, also considered a no load dyno, can be configured to produce a moderate load. I feel that they produce a better run.

Just my .02 cents worth.

One thing I like about the Mustang is it loads the engine hard. I had as much boost as on the street.
