New guy needs turbo upgrade

OK guys I've looked all over the forums and can't find much. I'm wanting to upgrade my baby h1c when I get back to the states...on a budget. My truck's non-i/c. Right now I'm trying to decide between a hx35, 60mm upgrade from GDS or a h1e/h1c hybrid or just the swap. I found a hx35 for $150, h1e for $50 or the 60mm I think is around $275. What do yall recommend? As far as what I'm looking for...a little more street and off-road performance, eventually pulling so I might want twins when the money comes along.

I have the hx35 in my 93 it works great but it depends on what your plans are for the truck. :)

I love My Hx40, I pulled w/ it last year and it did great. More than enough air for all the fuel I got goin to it.

How much boost are you getting and how bad is the lag? The only thing that was turning me off about the 40 was the lag I keep hearing about. Right now my fuel system is about the same as yours except the lift pump, but I plan on taking care of that soon as well. As soon as I get home I will also be going to a BHAF instead of my dirty old AFE. I went ahead and bought the h1e so I can build the hybrid just to see how it does. Who knows, it may satisfy me for awhile. After a lot of research it sounded pretty good for what I want and the price is right for what I can afford, but I may go to a HX40 later on when I have soem more money laying around.
