What's wrong with my truck?

I've noticed that after shutting my truck off for the night, then starting her up in the morning that she's starting to lug starting up for a couple seconds then goes to running/idling like normal and she'll be good for the rest of the day. Anyone know what might be wrong?

Thanks

I replaced it about 2 months ago.

All it takes is one bad batch of fuel to ruin a filter. Its pretty common.

I would look for air leaks. There are short hoses from the sending unit to the hard lines on the frame rail that are famous for drying out and cracking. Afer the first start does it start pretty easy after that? If so I bet a small amount of air is leaking in over night.

Ya its only after it sits all night and then the rest of the day its fine. And it just for a very few second when first started up, probley 3-4 seconds just enough to notice.

Sounds like there is a leak and air is getting in. Check everything over really good and look for fuel leaks or bad hoses. And just because fuel is not getting out does not mean air cant get in.

X2

the lift pump design is ok... but not the greatest. the lift pump has a constant draw on the lines from the pump back (which is why air gets in but no fuel out) if you ever notice when guys go from the fatory lift pump to an electric unit; it is mounted as close to the tank as they can get it. just less chance for stuff like this to happen

Well I have tuesday off and once I get some body work and everthing done ill check out the fuel lines.
