Idle adjustment????

I got my window's tinted friday, so been running the a/c alot more and has done this ever sence I got the a/c fixed. But when in gear and stoped it kinda lugs idling, the voltage goes from about in the middle of the gagues to about in the middle of the dead and the first mark. Do I need to adjust the idle higher?

Thanks

20%, dissapointed tho, should have went wtih 10 or 15.

Ya but mine drops quite and bit and makes the truck sound like its lugging idling in gear at a stop, but if I hold the break and add a little throttle(very little) everthing's good.

Definitely sounds like the low idle screw is too far backed out. Use a screw driver and hammer to loosen the lock nut, then use a 1/4" wrench to slowly thread it forward a couple turns. Then use the screw driver and hammer to re-tighten the lock nut.

Awesome thanks man.

I did notice that when not warmed up its fine, but once its warmed up it acts up like i mentioned earlier.

A little bit of that is normal, otherwise it's a sign of a worn pump. The hot-idle drop can get to the point that the pump needs to be replaced; I've been told that it is the symptom (along with low power and inefficiency) of a worn head/ rotor assembly.

that's weird I was told by the pervious owner and a good guy at a shop that the truck has a newer pump and fuel pump.

A little bit is normal. If it's dropping just 50 RPM when warm, that can put you from a comfortable level to a near-stall level with an automatic and air conditioning on. Dropping a couple hundred and that's very likely to happen.

Is there anything I can do?
