Does anybody no where I can get the round plastic piece in a selectro hub that the cap screws into??

RSWORDS 04-30-2007 11:33 AM

Here is an exploded view of your hub. Let them know what part you need.

LOGANSTANFORTH 03-22-2008 01:58 PM

I could use hubs

Anyone have 1 selectro for sale? or a set of internals for an 1981 dodge 3/4 dana 60?

tower_ofpower 08-05-2009 10:42 AM

internals really are the way to go... good luck getting that plastic ring... i tried to get just the screws that keep the knob on and they no longer made the screws for it...

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

what are the best internal hubs for these trucks? i've been a little confused about the conversion from selectro to internals being that the selectro's bolt to the hub

I think I looked at some Warn hubs and they were expensive. I still need to do something with mine but it hasn't left the asphalt in 8 months atleast. Not much use for 4wd in this urban jungle full of meth heads known as Tulsa

Be careful doin that, I broke mine tryin to turn it with a pipewrench when I put those wheel bearings in the front. It aint nothin but a piece of plastic in there

superwinch makes a good set for them i got them on my 85 1 ton they are cheap stronger and free lifetime replacement

tower_ofpower 08-05-2009 12:22 PM

hmmm i think i priced them out 4 years ago for my aunt or something and they were like 140 back from warn

LOGANSTANFORTH 08-05-2009 11:55 PM

if you got advance autoparts in the area get a set of WARN's from them........they will price match and the lockouts are lifetime warrantied....

I have an nos set that are selectros but are are sold under the b&m name. These where made for the trans compamy back in the 80's and have the selectro paper work with them. PM me if you want picks and a price.

Mile markers in mine n I stomp on her in 4wd at times. warns in my 90 worked great n dad beat the living hell outta the selectros on his 90 n never broke one in 7 years of pulling trees 100 feet tall n 3 feet across at the butt.

kevn349 12-08-2012 02:07 PM

i took mine apart, turns out it was just missing the large snap ring and a o-ring, probably why it rusted up. im gunna clean them up with a media blaster and should be good as new, worth the effort since they want so much for new, thanks anyways tho
