There will be ALOT more work swaping in a P-Pump then you think. Lots of little parts and misc stuff you need to take care of like timing case, injectors, injector lines, new lift pump, ect. Pretty much have to take the whole front off the engine and swap EVERYTHING. Why not get another VE? WIth some sticks, turbo, BHAF, and exhaust you can be around 400-450 HP which in a light ass 1st gen is KIZCK ASS!!!

Lol yeah RSwords,I dont plan on p-pumping my truck anytime soon,Ve's rule.I was taking about BD's 230hp ve street performance pump.

You might see 250 at the flywheel with your mods. Injectors and fuel flow are the limiting factors in 1stGen performance- the air filter is bigger than that of any generation since, and the exhaust is adequate (though maybe not ideal) for 300rwhp.

Do you have any details of what BD's "230 HP pump" has in it? Any internal modifications?

With stock injectors you're going to be limited to around 250 horsepower.
