Lowering my 92 D350 CTD dually, need advice

I bought my 92 D350 about 1 yr ago with new 5617 moog springs. It sits too high and rides too rough. Any suggestions? I'd like to see 2-3 inches lower and a nicer ride. My thought is to just buy a shorter spring with a slightly lower rate. I can always cut out a coil but that could go south fast. What have you guys done. BTW this is my hot rod/tow vehicle. Nothing heavier than some lumber in the bed.

So the way manufacturers save money is by making leaf springs thicker so they can put fewer to hane the same towing capacity so if you get leaf springs that are thiner with more of them that will fix your ride quality and to lower it you can get shackels or just get flatter springs
