Won't crank
i have a 91 cummins non intercooled went to start it and the front grid heater solenoid Burt a post out now I have no power when key is in on position the heater blower comes on windows will go up and down lights work. It's a new battery and everything seems to be in working condition fusible link seems ok no corrosion on plugs not sure where to go from that

Maybe a starter? I would trace the wire back from the grid heater solenoid and anything that was attached to that post and make sure it didn't arc somewhere. Sounds like a relay may have fried. have you replaced the grid heater did it have a short to ground internally? |
Thanks for the reply. ended up finding a wire coming out of the fusible link that was bad. Found that and didn't look to much farther as to why the solenoid fried
