What turbo should I run ?

My truck is about done comming off a complete rebuild and a 5 spd swap it is a 89 non ic truck with 3.07 gearing so I'm trying to figure out what would be the best after market turbo that would kinda in the middle cause when I'm not hauling Id like to have a little fun but where I live are a lot of mountains so I've gotta get somthing that's going to help with egts and I also need to figure out the best way to bump the power to try to help compensate for the gearing any help would be greatly app

Really depends on how much power you plan to add. If you plan on doing bigger injectors, HE351 or a good compound setup would be good. But if your just doing pump mods and other little stuff go with a HX35 or HE351. You might want to consider inter cooling the truck and make sure you got some gauges BEFORE you start turning it up

Second on the gauges ^^

I'd really recommend something that spools fast like the h351cw or compounds depending on how much money you want to put into it. You're gonna need all the spool you can get with 3.07s, a 5 speed and mountains. Even with 3.55s the gap between gears is quite large for me. I'd really like a split between each gear or a 6 speed.

I've had the HX35 for some time, and run up to 35" tires with 3.54 ratio. I'm not fully fuelled out yet, but I have to work REAL hard to get to 1200*. Its been a great turbo. I have a HE351 on my bench, but its going to be more work to install.
