pre bost smoke new fuel pin?

Ok so check this out guys before with stock fuel pin I turned it 90 of stock and I had the smoke screw turned all the way down to flush with the nut ya I had smoke of course so now I put a denny t stage 1 and and backed out the smoke screw all the way till it just wasn't touching then turned it back down 1/4 turn till it was touching the pin (btw I have my stock injectors in the truck still) back to the smoke I thought I would have less pre boost smoke and I have more am I missing something here cause when I put them side by side I should of been lower on the pin and had less smoke p.s. the power increase is awesome once in the boost lovin it :choochoo: im planning on doing more star wheel adjustments as soon as I put my injectors in my goal is tune for power not smoke please by all means put in your thoughts :c:

I had to run the smoke screw in a bit.. I have a denny 1 also.. it lagged when the screw was out then would hit boost with a big puff of smoke.. with the screw in a bit it seemed like it made a smooth transition.. if that makes sense... I am 3 turns up on the star wheel if that helps..
:c:

I was wondering why with the new fuel pin I smoke more with the smoke screw backed all the way out then before with the stock pin with the smoke screw all the way in kinda wondering if I have a problem I wanted less smoke preboost :humm:

not sure.. with my smoke screw out it would smoke on very light acc and lag until the afc pin would move down to give it more fuel then the turbo would come in and take off like a bat out of hell! that went away with fuel coming in sooner. the turbo would build boost sooner and clear up the smoke sooner.. not sure if I am explaining it correct.:c:

Right I know what you mean but your also an auto I can work past the lag cause im a manuel tranny but I would like to not smoke the second I touch my throttle lol I have to ease into it:td:
