Injection Pump parts help

I recently purchased a '92 Cummins with 212,xxx miles that is in decent shape but needs some help. In general looking/tinkering with the truck I noticed a broken brass fuel line that comes up from the lower side of the block and that upon further investigation, used to run to the back of the injection pump to a 17mm banjo bolt. In doing some research I've come to learn that neither Cummins, nor Dodge carry this section of line(its a 3 piece line to my understanding). Ive asked local parts houses and called a few junk yards near me, unfortunately neither one carries a great supply of parts. My question: Can I make/fab a line to fit this? Where can I locate the proper banjo bolt? I've seen some on Ebay but dont know the measurements to be certain. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks

Can the line it be repaired with a pressure coupler or are you missing the banjo fitting?

I'm missing the fitting as well as the bolt.

Sounds like your talking about the return line to the tank so you might want to do some further research. The 2nd gen p7100 pumps have what looks like a banjo bolt butis actually a overflow valve that maintains fuel pressure. I'm not sure if the 1st gen pump has a similar setup.

Hopefully someone will chime in with some better info.

OK so I remember now that the ve pump has a restricted flow banjo bolt on the return line. If you use a normal banjo bolt you will have insufficient fuel pressure.

it sounds like to me its the bango bolt #136 in the exploded view section part number 1 463 456 303 the line tees off under the intake side of the head toward the rear, one line goes to the pump one to the injectors and returns to the tank.. its a low low pressure line for bleed off. the bango bolt has a screen in it and is metered. sounds like what above guy said on 2nd gens. I don't know 2nd gens.:c:

FYI: If your searching salvage yards for your bolt and fitting you don't necessarily have to be looking for a cummins truck. The bosch ve pump was used on a wide variety of diesel cars and small trucks.

Its been a couple days, but here's what I've found with your collective suggestions. The bolt is technically not a banjo bolt, its a metering bolt. I found the line used, online at Kalos Used Cummins Parts. Have not received it in the mail to know if its the right fit or not, but it was worth the gamble at 12$. Hopefully everything will go together with out a hitch. Hope to have an update this weekend! Thanks for the help, sure makes a guy feel warm and fuzzy inside!
