under cooling in my cummins swap????

so i did a cummins swap in my 84 chevy crew cab dually. motor is out of a 92 i put in a new stock dodge radiator that is what came in the dodge stock. well im just curious. i daily drive this thing and i absolutely love it. but i put in an aftermarket gauge and its never goes over 160 runs right at about 155 all the time. arent these things suppose to run warmer than that?

Nope, they always run cold blooded like that. You can replace the 180° thermostat with a 190°.

should i just leave it how it is

You can, won't hurt a thing. You may want to cover the front in the winter to get the heater to work better. That's all I do.

I agree, I would leave it how it is. My '96 GMC swap does run cool about 70* and below. You will definitely want to block off the rad in the winter or you will have very little to no heat. I actually have mine blocked off completely and it doesn't overheat even sitting and idling for 30-45 mins.
