Why can I not find any AC hoses for a 91.5+?

I need the hose that goes from the compressor to the condenser, actually I would buy all new hoses if I could find them but Autozone, O'Reilly's, RockAuto, and the dealership can't get them.

You may have to have it made. I had to do that on my 91 when the pump went and converted to R134.

How did your ac perform after the swap? Did you stay as cool?

Yes, worked quite well even by Arizona standards. Up here, I have no use for it other than to defrost my windshield.

You can look on ebay I have seen them on there

I still have all the A/C parts from my 91.5 and would like to get rid of the whole lot of it - lines, compressor, condensor and a belt or 2 IIRC.

Make me an offer and chances are good it is yours...

At one point in time I had found a site that sold the R134A retrofit kit with 134A compatible hoses and a new compressor for $200-something dollars and I can't for the life of me find it now. I am not going to use 134A for the time being but new hoses would be nice.

I had a leaky shrader valve... Other than that good. Air volume from vents is poor. But I need to check if there is a critter nest on the engine side of the evaporator. When the hvac box would drain lots of acorn hulls etc can out. Truck sat in a wooded area for about five years. Foam and mice nest gradually comes from the vents as well

Find yourself a outfit that makes hydraulic hoses. Take your hoses down to them and I'll bet they can make you some new hoses, or know of another outfit that can.
