Serious transmission issues

Ok guys here's the thing... I have no overdrive.. I dealt with the tps and my O/D off switch lights up again but it still won't kick in. I've been trying to research it but I'm lost. Could it be the solenoid or the overdrive unit itself.. I really need some help here guys.

Bump for you, there are some smart auto guys on here that can help you out; however, I am not one..... Hopefully they will chime in quickly. :pca1:

Me either, I'm definitely not a transmission guy.. Someday I'd like to learn more about them

Just disconnect the plug at the trans and take 2 wires and run 1 to ground and the other to a switch and check it that way, i have seen guys just tap into the wires and do it that way but i like to take the ecm out of the equation and not possibly harm it. on mine i did not use the ecm when i converted it and mine is just hooked up to a switch so i can shift it anytime i want.
