Would a trade be crazy?
 

Hey guys I asked awhile back if anyone had tried or what they thought about swapping a 2nd gen body onto my 1st gen frame and got mixed feelings. I kicked around the idea of finding a v10 gas dually and swapping my engine and now am contemplating just getting a 2500 and switching in the back axle for a dually and adding the fender tubs. Am I crazy to think someone would be willing to trade a good reliable 2nd gen pre 98 so I can stay with the 12 valve for my 92 ex cab dually? I am basically after the little more room offered for kids in the back seat of the 2nd gen as my 1st is lacking there and the family is growing. My truck is young with not even 150xxx on it yet. Sorry if this is the wrong area to post this just needing input as money is to tight to take out a loan and buy one I am reduced to trying to trade or sell mine straight out. I would do it. Second gen bodys are way nicer. And p pump it then it would be a second gen still haha

I am even game for simply swapping trucks with someone although it is not often that someone wants to go from a 2nd gen back to a first gen. I am at a loss and just don't know what to do. Need more room but can't really borrow money. Whats mine worth? I was thinkin $5000? Am I to high?
