looks sweet but I think you are going to regret putting them on. These trucks cant handle all that weight spinning. my brother has a 03 wit 38" semi tires and his front end is trashed it gets death wobble like a mother F@cker its pretty freaking scary at 70mph. if you plan on keeping them you better be planning on beefing up your frontend is all Im trying to say:c:

steering gear will also put a lot more stress on the frame, be ready for cracks.

if you take care of your truck, then your truck will last, these wheels do not weigh anymore than a 19" with 33" on them, the reasone for most failures is people who do things with there trucks that they should not be doing in the first place without updating the suspension and the drive link.

I am only going on highway and around town, not jumping the truck or trynig to race it, this is for my enjoyment only, if I wanted to go off road, I would build my truck to do so.

for 1993 first gen newbies friend, the new truck are put together with non greasable joints, (I'm probable going to open a can of worms) non greasable are junk, especially if you are going to upgrade your wheels, every truck I have owened has had greasable joints installed and thrown away the non type, your friend should replace his with greasable.

I have had many truck with very large tires, when I start running into problems with steering and joints, when I start to go to high, I do appreciate the opinions, but I have done this for a long time, if you replace your parts with cheap stuff, then......... replace with good parts, :jump:

the one pics show all new parts with my grease gun that leaks, I didnt wipe the grease off yet (just incase someone thinks I over greased I didnt, the dang grease gun leaks from every point, you should see my hands when I'm done, my wife wont let me in the house.

for death wobble, that is because something is not function properly, your friend needs to get that fixed, always remeber this, the truck did not leave the factory like that, it means that somewhere in there some thing is going wrong, whats wrong, I'm not sure, everyone always has a write up on what they did, but every truck is differnt, I can say for my truck, it had a small bounce, and when I was replacing struts and springs, the lower ball joints were distroyed, they were never replaced since factory, since I replaced everything under there, I have had no issues and the ride is nice, wife does not like to ride in it, but I this is my 3rd child (the truck)

update on how she handles

she is a little rough but I am going to try letting some air out and keep driving in till I find a sweet spot, so far running 55 or 60 she is really smooth, she does like to follow all the ruts and dips in the road, I hopeing the sway bars will cure that, I found some brimbo rotors that I will be putting on and replacing the bearings as well.
