93 dies when clutched after high RPM

when i bog it out in 3rd or 4th and let it climb to high rpms and suddenly clutch it to get out of it. it dies. starts right back up. put a fuel pressure guage on it and the airdog keeps it between 13-15psi all the time even at the point of dying.
had it indexed at 10&4 so i moved it to 11&5. same thing. it did it also once, when i bogged out of third wrapped it up, slammed 4th, wrapped it up, slammed 5th, wrapped it up a little and clutched it. died. started right back up. i noticed also it doesnt have the lugging power it did. idling around in 3rd and 4th and even taking off the rpms seem to drop significantly. timing maybe??

the fuel load is maxed out, wont go in any more, indexed at 11&5. shouldnt it be trying to run away set like that???

Probably the clutch safety start switch....ya know the one that keeps you from starting with the clutch pedal not pushed in....

probly not. the neutral safety switch cuts off signal power to the starter solenoid only. not to mention that i dont use the fuel shut of solenoid but the manual gov. kill lever via cable. good thought tho! thanks!

Yes, I agree, probably not. Sorry, I've been really busy in the shop lately. I've seen once where the was a short in that switch, grounding things out because a previous owner decided he was a master electrician, therefore, disrupting the FSS. It was very hard to find.

Another one was when pressing on the clutch, it wiggled some wires, and the motor cut out. Now that was a good one.
Those things being said, and fairly easy to diagnose, if its not those, could be in the pump, A fueling problem.
Have he changed the spring? Messed with the fuel pin?
Sounds like its happening when the pedal is moved, or the motor is unloaded, or simply running out of fuel....at that high rpm
