so im trying to figure out what i did to my injection pump. a little while back when i tried turning my pump up a bit more i thought i could adjust my idle down by moving the lever outlined in red so it was all the way up against the bolt outlined in blue. after helpin a guy turn up the pump on his truck i tried to do this thinkin it might help with bringing the idle down but then realized it might the truck run almost worse than it did stock so we put it back. after that i moved mine back to where it is supposed to be and it made a big difference. it runs like a completely different truck. so does anyone know what i did wrong by moving that lever?

That adjustment bolt/slot positions the throttle-shaft in relation to the throttle-lever and yields big changes in either direction as you found out

ahh i see. do you know if it would it give it a positive affect if i move it in the other direction?

Experiment and google, then you will learn your own truck.
