What about a 4wd truck? I have done the tie rod ends, steering box and the short steering arm. The box has like 3k miles on it and its shot.... Is a cross over convertion possible? The ball joints on my d60 are good but the shop that did the alignment after the lift and all the new parts said the wheels were " leaned in" and I didn't want them to fight the rusty *** ball joints just yet. I have a custom 5" lift and 35's any suggestions?

you can do a crossover setup. get a kit from nwfab, sky or ord. if you have a stock d60 it has kingpins. probably just needs new bushings in the top of the kingpin or you can rebuild the entire thing. 4wdfactory has the kit.

My wheels were leaned in (camber) after I went through the front end. Turns out enough years of the 9' plow and 12v not only wasted the springs but actually arched the front axle, some alignment shops have the equipment to chain the axle and press it back into place at which time a nice hot bead around where the axle presses into the diff housing isn't a bad idea.
