got a new 1st gen

so i bought a long box extended cab 4x4 cummins 250 same as my last one i sold , but this one has under 300 thousand kilometers !!!!!
all it needs is a front driveshaft for the 4x4 !!!! , anyone know the price of them ? , ill look at my scrapyard, if they dont got one ill make one from a ford driveshaft

no damn idea what you'd reasonably spend for a front propeller shaft, but, congrats on the truck..... and your comment "...same as my last one...." reminded me of Nick Nolte's P.O.S. sky-blue Cadillac from the second of the two "48 Hours" movies. hahahaha

One from a 72-88 chevy with a d60 will work if its the same length.

Hmmmm nice man. I love the coastal area of BC. thsts probably a good idea, id recommend high angle ujoint yokes and ditch the double cardinal joint at the t-case.

Are the dual cardan ujoints prone to wearing out or something?

They seem to be. Both my 1st gens have been warn out n I know a couple guys who have had em wear out. One shop my dads sorta friends with the owner. He wouldn't rebuilt em for me, not that I can't do it just I heard they are a real pita to rebuild.
