gauges
Hey. I'm wanting some gauges for my 90 model. I really want boost, egt. What else should I get? And should I do the pillar mount or dash? And how do you hook those up? I seen some people drilling holes in their intakes but I didn't really want holes in it for boost.
|
get transmission temp also since its an auto. And you dont drill a hole into your intake. you pull one of the bolts out of the intake manifold and then hook the boost bolt into the intake manifold
|
On the non ic trucks the plug is behind the throttle bracket off the intake. gotta drill a hole in the bracket no biggy.
|
Okay. Where would you hook trans temp? What other gauge would be the best? Pyrometer?

Ya I hate automatic too, but that's all I could afford. Lol. Got it for 3300, its pretty nice.

Fair enough. whatever works I just know I'd blow it up. then it'd sit till I could afford a performance build.

I have a single n dual autometer pillar pods so I can run all 3 on the pillar in my case pyro, water temp n fuel psi on the pillar with boost on the dash. gonna switch boost n fuel psi soon and tach on the columb.

Do these make exhaust leaks?

I recommend Glowshift boost, pyro, and trans temp with a pillar pod. The guages are a 75 a piece and then the 2 guage pod is 25 from jegs and the single is 15.

I wouldn't put Glowshitz on my lawnmower.
