IIRC banks doesn't make anything for 1st gens. That exhaust manifold is off a CR.

CR?

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

Guessing it won't fit a 12 Valve.

Common Rail...

It should fit but the turbo is going to be lower than the stock position.

OK, thanks man.

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

I called Banks directly and they claim to have never made a exhaust manifold for any Cummins engine. WTF?

Why wouldn't you just get a nice 3 piece manifold for it?

I imagine that's a one-off prototype as you can see the individual EGT probe wells in each runner just after the head. Further, unless I'm mistaken, the CR uses round ports where as ours are rectangular.

It's a lot lighter than a cast unit being thin-wall tubing. I imagine the bellows go a long way in keeping the metal from tearing with the expansion/contraction.

I like that remote oil filter, oil-cooler cover-plate.

That pic is from project sidewinder on the Banks hotrod page or whatever. They don't even sell exhaust manifolds for the Cummins engines, someone just put Banks' logo on that manifold for the project truck(Dakota), anyways, sucks.
