Need yalls opinion on a first gen
Recently just went down and looked at a 1991 dodge W250 4x4 3spd auto that was rebuilt 10,000 miles ago with receipts. Has aluminum wheels. Body is 80%to straight and in primer. Has about 5 little spots of rust. Tailgate has the most rust. Interior is typical farm truck. Needs driver side door panel and interior cleaned real good. 195,000 miles. No blow by. Only thing is the water in fuel light is on. Might just be bad sensor. Runs great. Drives good besides the wind noise them first gens have. He's askin $2800for but said he'd take $2300. What yall think?

sounds like a good deal for 4x4. motor is worth $1500. automatic sucks Id say go for it I dont see how you can lose

i tried posting pics but for some reason my smart phone is being dumb.

If I had the chance I would take it before someone else does. I've saw one by me with no motor, busted fenders, and 2wd go for 1,700 down the road from me. 2300 would be a good deal for a running drivetrain.

i bought it. drove it almost an hour home with no tags. transferred tho. Its got some slop in the steering, pulls to left when braking, gauges flicker and radio dims when i press the brake or turn signal, wind noise out the a$$. it was defiantly a different experience driving with no lock up converter and what seemed like a high stall speed. Seems like it would slip a tiny bit going from 2nd to 3rd and hang at 2nd gear for a second but this is the first automatic diesel and first cummins I've owned so idk if its normal or not.

Sounds like a good deal for 2300

Does anyone know how hard it is to put all new seals in the 727 ans transfer case. The whole underside of the cab is moist. Im gonna try some seal conditioner for a temporary fix.
|
Sounds like a good deal but i would get rid of that cancer(rust) fast
|
I got my old 91 dodge d150 that is pretty rust free im gonna swap some body parts with
