Welcome on board! I'm new here as well.. First thing is first.. tell us what you wanna do to it, turning it up? Egt gauge, boost gauge is pretty much essential.. You always wanna watch EGT. Now that that is out of the way here is something that could help you when turning up your pump:

Hey , thanks for the help ! , at the moment I am just completely cleaning out my brake calipers and changing oil and stuff like that because I just got the truck .. It is my first truck and I am pretty excited to d omore work to it ... when you turn up the pump is there any bad side to it ? , like will it screw anything up ?

Well, I guess it all depends on how you treat it really.. If you're nice to her and what not.. less likely for things to happen (Mindful of EGT). These trucks are very de-tuned from the factory.. so more than likely you'll be fine. Some one more knowledgeable will chime in, I'm no diesel expert.. Tell us about your truck.. Auto, Manual etc

Yea I will treat it fairly well although it is a work truck and I am not planning on keeping it perfect , my truck is a 5 speed manual , extended cab long box , bench seats , cool tachometer in top left of dashboard, and it has a bit of rust but im planning on patching it up ! I also think my front right caliper is seized :( ,

Cool! Mine is an ECLB too! Except mine is the "slushbox" automatic.. Oh well. Calipers are usually fairly inexpensive. I dunno how much they are on these trucks though.. haha

not sure what you mean ECLB ? , but oh well at least its a cummins ! and id think these trucks calipers are about 90 - 100 ?

ECLB= Ext Cab Long Box. They could be somewhere in that range.. But I dunno. Get on Rockauto.com?
