Would an s300 or hx35 be better?

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

Or like what kind of turbo for what I have is gonna perform the best?

For what you have done get a 2.5-2" silicone reducer to connect the turbo to your crossover and bolt on the HX35 the S300 will probably need a lil more work to make fit and there pretty close in size if I remember right.

cooler tubs offers a cross over pipe for the non intercooled trucks that want to run a hx35. im sure he could make one to fit a 300 aswell. and depends on your aplication on what turbo will be better. you can get a big 300. also there is nothing wrong with the wh1c. i acually perfer it as it is easier to get apart. specs are identical between the hx and wh same wheels same housings. i ran mine into the low 50psi range several times before the funds were there to upgrade, never a problem.

So what all will I need to put the hx35 into my truck?

look into an hx35/ hx40 hybrid. I bolted the gate shut, and thought I would just keep an eye on it to make sure I didn't pop a head, and 34-35 psi is all I have been able to muster, but it does get there in a hurry. I don't know if the 1st gen would react the same way as my 24V does, but that is also with the programmer turned up.

No need for down pipe just loosen hanger at the tranny n push the whole system back that ever so slight amount it has to go.

I'm goin to be throwing on a hx35 on my 93 12 valve ... the down pipe bolts on the same. As the h1c ?? The exhaust just needs to be pushed back ?? ... I ask .. I was on way to work ( 9 hour roundtrip ) and my oil pump went out and took out the turbo ... I had a local shop put in oil pump ...but I'm driving back up there and throwing on turbo myself .. just curious Wat I need ....

Depends on if it came off a 12V or 24V. a 12V turbo will bolt right on just push the exhaust back like an inch. the 24V turbo you gotta use the H1C exhaust housing (bolts right on), Custom work your down pipe or get a new back plate for the exhaust housing off a 12V hx35.

So I crossed the serial number ..it comes back to a '04 .. so if I just get a new back plate. I should be golden and Wat about the t3 flange .. is it the same ??
