Radiator may be no good.

Well today i had to change out the lower radiator hose cause it had a pen hole in it so i figured i would get it out of the way. So in the process of taking the lower hose of the 180 degree fitting on the radiator i guess i broke it off or something. I put the new hose on and it was leaking so i tried to take it back off and the whole fitting broke off the radiator and came out with the hose. Now the question is, is it broken or can i get it fixed? It is metal so didnt know if i can get away with JB welding it or taking it to a radiator shop and get it fixed. I sure hope so cause im trying to get the dang truck on the road and then this happens???:argh:

You can try n get it soldered back on at a stock but I wouldn't get your hopes to high.

Not looking forward to have to buy a radiator if I have to.

Mine was "bad" too, according to the radiator shop. Funny thing is, we soldered the leaks up and put it back in the truck. It seems to cool the truck just fine and doesn't leak any more. I know I am on borrowed time though, but will eventually upgrade to an aluminum one. The OEM radiator is brass, so it brazes pretty good!

Good luck!!! :tu:
