1990 w250 running but won't stay running

Rough history. Ran 60 miles, shut down like it was out of fuel. Bleed the lines and started and ran. Drove another 60 miles shutdown again. Repeat bleed. Ran 30 miles, had to bleed again. Tank is half full. Won't drive more than 2 miles before dying. Runs fine then starts to act like it's not getting fuel and will slowly decrease speed with pedal to floor. Let up and in neutral it dies. Bleed and it runs fine for another 2 miles. Ive replaced fuel lines and the o rings in the tank line connectors. Clean and blown out the tank lines and screen. Still acting the same. Thinking it's sucking air somewhere. Ganna replace the fuel pump, bad diaphragm maybe? Any ideas would be nice. Thanks

What about the fuel filter? :pca1:

I've replaced the lift pump, it ran better but still sucked air. I removed fuel filter and checked for double gasket and sealing. Going to replace filter and inspect filter housing for hairline cracks.
