This ever happen to anyone? Wheel problems

So im driving down the hightway right lane. Then bam! my truck jerks stongly to the left, and i have to fight for control. and when i get off at a gas station i see my front left wheel has esentially... pulled away from the axle? its hard to describe its like the hub just kinda seperated. Hubs were not locked in prior to this so i dunno pics are attached see what ya'll think thanks guys

Ya, had a friend who had to go get a boat one time because of that.

Sounds like to me that one of the hub bearings separated. When that happens the outer part of the bearing can slip over the retaining hard ware, allowing the hub to slide right off of the spindle. Good job getting it off the road, that could have been alot worse.

montepig72 you were right outer wheel bearing just disintegrated and it wore down the two outer nuts and tried to jump off the axle appreciate your help!
