What would you guys pay for a 94 12 valve with 176xxx miles, and the following goodies. 4inch turbo back, killer dowl pin replaced, 4k governer springs, banks intake horn, smoked led cab lights. new front rotors and calipers. progressive rate coil springs, new front shocks. rear traction bars. new headliner and all new universal joints, 33x12.5x18 tires with new black aluminum wheels, and a new Transmission (fully built) & billet torque converter along with smoked projector headlights, new stereo and new boost, pyro, and trans temp a-pillar guages. DOES NEED PAINT AND HAS SOME RUSTvit also has an upgraded turbo, it is and hx35 off of an 01 24 valve. the truck makes about 320 hp

It depends where abouts you live. A truck like that here in Jersey would go for 9-12k easy. If its a 5 speed, bump up another 2k.

 

Giving you the perspective of a car dealer. You must remember that none of that Extra Goodies on the truck actually gives the truck value. Yes I know that it has some great extras but that does not add value to the truck from a dealer stand point. IMO this is the way you need to approach the situation when buying vehicles.

But with that amount of miles and that year of truck depending on outside appearance and inside appearance I would say 5k at most! Just my .02 cents

the hx35 is identical in demention to the factory wh1c that came on that truck. it isnt an upgrade just a newer style. and 6k sounds fair. and if he told you 6 cash you can get him down lower.

See that is exactly it, my budget as of now for the whole thing is about 6k. I know it has exterior issues but it is a sound truck and very clean on the inside and the engine rocks.

 

6K seems like a fair price. Id offer a little lower and see if he gives in!

 

Thanks guys, I did this as a little thing to prove to my mom who " has bought and sold cars for 25 years" that she knows nothing about diesel trucks and that when we go look at one, just because it needs some minor work down the road, it is still worht buying. All the info wqas from real 94 cummins that we looked at by my house.
