P7100 Injector Pump Removal and Installation
I have to send out my P7100 pump to be rebuilt. My understanding is that when taking the pump off, placement of the timing pin is the most important part of the process. I can't seem to find a you tube video on the pump removal and install process. Anybody have a link for some instructions? I guess I could go to cummings for a manual, but it sure would be nice to get a video of the process. Thanks GaryB

No. Set the motor at tdc, remove the lines, pump bracket, and loosen the pump mounting nuts. Leave the farthest out nut on and then pop the gear off and finish pulling the pump. Have the pump shop set the timing pin so its where you want it, it'll make timing much easier.

Old thread, but did you ever find a video or good instructions? The bolt holes for my AFC stripped on me -_-, so I ordered a new pump. Had no idea it was gunna be as involved as it sounds. Anything would help!
