IC RAD A/C and everything else up front also take the #5 & #6 rockers and pushrods out that will give you alot more clearance, and i take the head lifting bracket off and put just a bolt thru the chain in the hole, it gives you more room on the firewall, also while your under it dont forget the fuel lines at the frame.

12v's are very easy to pull, we pulled one a couple weeks ago and had it on the engine stand in less then a hour and a half

Quick question... Are they supposed to have so many wires under the hood? Being mechanical engines you wouldn't think so but my engine compartment seems to be a cluster F*** :argh: Not looking forward to tearing my truck apart for a paint job because I'll be chasing wires for days trying to de-clutter.... :scare2:

they have ECT, MAP, CPS, TPS, fuel shut off, heater grid, fuel heater, starter, ALT and A/C wiring so basicly even tho its a mechanical engine all the other parts bolted to it are not and neither is the dash, but it only takes a few min to unwire and just lay it all off the side

Ok thanks. The head is already off but it will be on when the motor goes back in
