If you only tow 10k or less the 4500 is easy and cheap. remember that the 5600 makes you shift 2 more gears every time you start. my leg gets tired.

Nice info. I have 3.55 gears on 37" Tires. I honestly rarely drive fast. I'm a very calm driver that just enjoys driving. But Every once in a while I like to show off my power lol. Even though you have another gear to shift, thats what I'm most excited for. I don't know what it is about driving a standard transmission truck, but I love every bit of it. I also figured the 6 speed would give me more options when I'm driving slow on off road trails. Plus I'd like to by a tandem axle Gooseneck trailer and haul some vehicles around for my buddies or myself.

I Would rather have the 5600 my self. Im looking at a 02 cummins 3500 with the NV5600 in it. I want to do an axle swap with 3.55 gears and make it a SRW. The truck now only goes 75 the owner said.

What are you getting for a top speed with the NV5600 and the 3.55 gears? or how fast is the truck as 2000 RPM?
