Picking out the right Clutch?

I am swapping a NV4500 into my truck, and I want to do this right. I am planning on buying a full rebuild kit, Valair 1-3/8 Billet Input Shaft and most likely the updated Main Shaft, along with Valair Hydraulic Slave Cylinder.

I am trying to figure out what is the right clutch for me, and would appreciate some guidance.
I'm not sure how much power my truck currently makes, but I'd like to build it to around 500hp. So I was thinking about buying a 500hp clutch from either Valair or South Bend. I use my truck for Daily Driving, tow occasionally, and off road every few weeks.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Anyone else?

Southbend seems to stand behind their stuff. Id take a look at their dual disc 3250 and 3600. If your looking at a single disc rated around 500, they are usually pretty grabby when towing, havent messed with any valair clutches so couldnt tell ya about those.

i have the valair 13" 6 speed full ceramic converesion clutch in my truck i love it tow alot and daily drive holds up great to the accasional boosted launch and towing heavy only downfally is backing up a heavy load truck teds to hop so i throw the tcase into 4x4 low and keep the front axle disenguaged so i get the lower gearing

Yea I would be planning on doing the 13" conversion as well. Which clutch do you currently have in your truck? Valair seems to be the brand suggested by most people to me, I'm really leaning towards Valair.

We have a new setup that is pretty much an all around unit that you may want to consider. You can view it here...
