swaps i need input
Ok so i might have to chance to have a 96 2wd for my buckstop bumpers inturn i can replace all the crap on my 4x4. steering window motors yada yada. but i have a 6.5 (my dads actually) how hard would it be to chummins a GMC?? Could I use the TCM for the 47re out of the dodge and put it in the chevy?? Because thats really all i would need to get it mounted and "running" other the engine brackets. If anyone has thoughts plz have input. also its a 95 1500 GMC 2wd

you can put a 12 valve it just about anything u want. theres no "e.c.u" like most vehicals. correct me if im wrong, it seems to me that is part of all the hype with that engine these day. i got a buddy here in r.c s.d puts them in almost everything. from what i hear its fairly easy to do. good luck

x2 a 12v is the easiest/most common swap. There very little wiring needed what soever. stater, and gauges are about it :tu:
