12v injector washers!?
 

hey guys well i had to pop the hood today becuase of my fuel shut off and noticed that every single injector is leaking alot!! enought to have fuel all over the exhaust manifold and down the side of the motor!! dripping on the floor im assuming its the crush washers!(i hope) the problem is ive been reading some debate about what size washers to use some say thich and most are saying the thiner washers are better off.. or should i just get some stock size ones? well i dont know what any of the sizes are anyways, in all my reading ive got, big, stock,thin! i'd love to know some dimentions!!

i think the are .020 .040 .080 i think. and yours prolly has the middle size washer. some claim the smaller washer moves the injector closer to the bowl (which it does) and this in theroy advances timing a bit. it may but your not going to notice a difference from one washer to the other. check to make sure its not just your return lines leaking. they are a pain some times.

thanks for the info turbo! i actually went and snugged everything down and gave my motor a bath this morning,the lines werent loose but not all the way tight!...so hopefully that did me some g00d! if not im goin to try the crush washers!

well after tighting everything down and driving it for a day.. im still getting a leak just not as bad as befor.. now i can see it bubling from the injectors so i grabbed a bunch of washers some med size and some thin ones im goin to give the thin ones a shot see what happens ill post back and let ya'll know!!
