Gauges are a must (pyro and boost, fuel PSI wouldnt Hurt), $k GSKs, 60# Valve springs. You can move your stock fuel plate forward with out worrying about temps too much or move up to a #10 and definately watch your temps. Boost elbow (do a search on here for that). Just remember adding more fuel isnt always the answer, she needs to breath. All this will run you about $550-$650.

Definately do some searches on the site for more info, people are always asking how to start out.

Good Luck!:c:

you can get a 100 ponies for much cheaper than that.

ditto on the breathing part.
loose the stock air filter somehow stock took 7 psi from me
put a boost elbow on it $15
GOV SPRINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO THIS!!!!!!!!!
tune your afc for the boost you plan to run
2095 rack plug
turn your barrels - always catch flak for that- its good for a big jump in power for free!
piddle with your fuel plate, grind your own whatever
buy the tools to do your timing
if you just do 3k gov springs than that and the boost elbow is your olny cost so your at like $110

what air intake do u suggest 1.most power gained 2. cheapest but still worth buying

Air intake I'd go with an AFE. And what are gov springs? And why do they need to be upgraded?

We like the AFE ProDry or S&B.

govoner springs are in the injection pump and allow the engine to rev higher before it starts to defuel. stock start to defuel around 2200rpms 3k are 3000rpms 4k's are 4000rpm ish and so on.

no need to mess with the barrels simple afc/plate and gov spring mods will do the job.
