Grid heater solenoid replacement

Ok so after a couple of nights searching for a solution to my grid heater solenoids being in-op all I found was write ups that either included an uncommon jeep solenoid that noone stocks, a ford starter solenoid on a manual button, and factory replacements.*

With weather here reaching -40*C I had to do something because I hate the way my truck runs An starts without them working, I wanted to retain a factory like operation, but factory solenoids are discontinued from dodge and aftermarket are SOLD OUT! Jeep solenoids were 3 days away so I didn't want to go that route, so I decided to make the Most common solenoid ever work that EVERYWHERE stocks.

I used a ford starter solenoid from pretty much every ford truck used. Im sorry if this info is out there alot already but I could not find it. This is what I did.

Parts: 1 ford starter solenoid, 1 regular 5 pin relay and harness, 1 fuse holder.

How to hook it up:
Solenoid large connectors just hook up the same, just doubled on a single post. The solenoid is grounded through the base so I just bolted the solenoid to the inner fender right where the old ones used to using 2 original bolts in 2 original holes
Now take the relay, run pin 30 to power, pin 87 to the S terminal, then I cut the factory ends of the control wires off, twisted the two ignition feed wires together(green) and soldered them to pin 86 of the relay, then did the same with the two ground wires from the PCM to pin 85, mount the relay and enjoy easy nice starting!

Hope this helps others looking for a quick, cheap and simple solution.
