Default Loss of top end with fuel plate movement

buddys 94 was a auto now swapped with 5 spd. he had a #100 plate in it in stock location and he truck would get pass 95 easy now that i moved it forward the truck is quicker but it hard for it to even get to 90. why would this be?

id say if its stock turbo for auto truck on there hes got alot more drive press. than he used to have.

its the same turbo it will be a WH1C. autos are faster its no argument. i dont know final drives as this may be what you are experiencing?

both the 95mph and hard to get to 90mph was after everything else was done and yes the stock turbo is still on there.

same boost #'s is your fuel pressure up to snuff?

move it back to the stock location. see if it changes it again? when you took the AFC off did you crack or break the reference line? may be leaking boost? gotta find the bugs. things dont generally JUST happen. retrace what you did.
