pot or switch?
ok just checked the tps on this by one of the threads i found and the voltage is no where close and i couldn't get it adjusted. is shifts to OD just fine and at a range i expect it to but it won't stay locked up i already have the stuff for the lock up switch and thanks to posts on here i know hoe to set up the 47RH.

did you drill the holes out bigger to see if that helps. this is a big problem on these trucks.

talking about the mount holes for the tps?

yes that will allow a little more adj.

Usually you can install a new bell crank and bushings and fix it. You can do a tps delete but that leaves you with binding or tight throttle linkage.

after looking at how much play there was before the tps started moving i decided to put the lockup switch on for now will probably put the pot on later
