A couple months ago my uncle was having problems with his throttle rods binding up and not letting the truck go faster then 25mph unless he stood on it. Well he pulled it apart to rebuild it it turns out there are some bushings that hold the rods and they got wallowed out making the rod bind. Has anyone else had or heard of this issue and where he might be able to get just the bushings? The dealer doesn't sell just the bushings just the whole pump.

The bushings on the front of the pump where the cable connects?

 

If you notice bushing number 4 is for the pivot for the linkage that connects the throttle cable.

 

Cummins keeps these parts in stock, pure diesel power also Carries them. Most likely its going to need a bell crank as well. The lever or bell crank is part number 3931569 at Cummins. 3914353 are the bushings and you need two.
