Allison swap

Would a Allison transmission bolt up to a 12 valve?

not an easy job and i wouldnt recomend a allison they stall to bad with more power but you would have to buy adaptor kits and computer modules its alot but i would sugest just a good shift kit for your stock tranny depending on the power you want to put to it or maybe a vaulve body but it would be half the money and half the aggervation

PATC trans has the adapter plate needed for the Allison swap. Can't recall if you'd need a different flex plate or not. From what I hear Allisons are some towing sob's but they don't like gobbs of torque. If it's a stock-ish truck that you'd get plenty of utilization of the 6 speeds for towing then it may be worth while. You'll also need a stand alone controller. Which translates into $$$
