4 inch downpipe

So i just installed my 4 inch exhaust my downpipe is touching a coolant line that goes into this round canister on the side of block. Is this canister the oil cooler? Will downpipe touching line cause me any problems. Real tight fit and no way to install downpipe with it not touching this. Thanks!!!!!

that sounds more like an A/C line, is it aluminum?

:hellox: I would do something different.Exhaust pipe should not touch anything. Could cause premature wear on pipe by rubbing or make vibration or rattle. :argh:

Yeah i get that, thats why i posted this does not seem right but i have twisted and move the downpipe and it always touches that line guess i could take it off and smack a nice dent in the side of the pipe

The Tranny cooler is right there as well... Could be one of your transmission cooler lines
