speedometer inaccurate after major swappage

OK....after many months, I've got "Tiny" back, and with the G-56 and the hybridized T-case, it's pretty damn sweet! I love that tranny! However...my speedometer is very inaccurate, now.

I guess the previous setup would send a signal from a sensor in the t-case, and from a sensor on the rear axle. During the tranny swap, it was discovered that the rear axle was shot-as well, so that was changed. I think I have a pre-"tone-ring" axle now, so the dashboard computer receives no data from there.

There's a small computer-doohickey that takes the t-case input, and can be adjusted to "fool" the dashboard computer into giving me a good road-speed reading.

Do any of you know the name of that doohickey?

been using the GPS/speedometer in my phone, but, it's kind of annoying. the app I have is called Ulysse Speedometer 1.2.5 (not Ulysses, just Ulysse ). My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S (droid), and it seems to work pretty well, so long as you've got decent satellite coverage. All except the altimeter. Even at the peak of the JFK causeway, it'll show me below sea level :scare2:
