Head stud installation help

Hey guys I have a set of arp studs an got milled rockers too so I just have a few question. 1 I heard you have to tap each of the holes? 2 I head you turn them in then a quarter turn back out b4 righting the nut? So if you guys could give me some step by step help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

if you have 12 mm studs you will not have to drill the block out. you would only need to drill and tap the threads if you had 14 mm studs. screw them all the way to the bottom then turn them a 1/4 turn back out so they are not bottomed out. then FOLLOW THE TORQUE SEQUENCE!

you will torque them in 3 steps. for example. if the specs say 120ft/lbs you would do 80 the first sequence, then 100, then 120. after the last one go back over all of them and check one last time.

I think he means bottom tapping the block and yes that is a good idea to do that...

When you bottom tap the holes are just running a tap to the bottom? An I'm gonna pull 1 out a time so would I pull 1 out an torque it to the first torque then move to the next an do all them like that or just take each one right to final spec then move to the next?
