Most fuel mileage
 

Hey guys,
Im new to the site and wanted some ideas anybody has on getting the maximum amount of mileage out of my '96 2500 12v, its basically stock. It has a volant air intake, i chopped out most of the exhaust, didn't think it had anything done as far as GSK but am able to revv it over 3K on the intersate and it feels like its still making power before I let off(around 100mph).
I hogged out the intake elbow on top cause it just looked restrictive :psst: other than that off the top of my head i can just think of the heater grid as more restriction.

are there options for turbo upgrades as far as efficiency?

was wondering about wrapping my exhaust for the same effect as hot rods with velocity and all that, but does that give u adverse effect as far as EGT's?
