blowinsmoke12v 09-26-2011 08:36 PM

also i can move the throttle about a 1/4 way back and i feel tension like the pump is moving on the inside but rpms dont actually increase till after that 1/4 mark??

hey MechanicalDiesel do you like that transgo shift kit I was thinking about one but never heard of them before.

MechanicalDiesel 09-28-2011 12:10 PM

Your throttle linkage may be out of adjustment, or your cable maybe stretched out a lot. Is there a Govenor spring kit in the truck?

And Im not sure how it is yet I havent installed it, im waiting on a deeper pan to start pulling everything out. But when its in ill let you know :pca1:

Al31031 09-28-2011 06:24 PM

yes please do im just a little curious!

blowinsmoke12v 09-28-2011 08:00 PM

yes govenor springs are installed but its not just on the pedal like where i can pull on the throttle on the side of the pump no reaction till about that point then rpms increase its terrible feeling

Al31031 09-29-2011 12:21 AM

not to change the subject but what are the benefits of removing the afc arm????
