Tq converter question

Whenever I let off the throttle while cruising 55+ the converter will unlock with a hard jerk. When I get back on the throttle it will lock up nice and smooth. The converter doesn't slip or shudder at all even at WOT. What do yall' think is causing the hard unlocks?

Hmm :humm: Thats weird. Usually when drivin my buds truck once that thing hits like 45 mph it locks and STAYS locked. Are you running a stock TC or an upgraded?

As far as I know it's stock. If you back off the throttle a little bit it doesn't do it. It's only when you let off all the way. If cruise is set and I hit the brakes it jerks too.

Does it normally do this? Or is it something that just recently started?

Sounds like you need a HD triple disc TQ

It's always done it. When I partially let off the throttle it stays locked up and acts like an engine brake until it unlocks. It will unlock smoothly if I do it like that.
