Lift pump question??

My 95 does not seem to start nearly as fast as my 90, or my 02. It runs great, it just cranks a couple of seconds before starting, seems like forever. What can I look for, i'm not real familiar with the 2nd gen 12V's, could the LP be going south?? Is there a way to check my fuel pressure without a gauge, like on my VP? Is there anything else I should be looking for? Thank you as always for your info, I appreciate it all!!:c:

I have noticed the cranking speeds up when I bump timing.

yours could be loosing prime and that has to deal with the lines from fuel tank and back

What is your idle speed? Mine would take a couple seconds to fire up unless I hit the throttle just a bit as I was cranking. I realized it was idling around 600 rpm in park with the A/C off. I bumped it up to 750 and that helped a lot. It still starts the fastest when I lightly blip the throttle though.

The blip of the pedal is the key, fired right up! :c:Thank you!:rocking:

My idle speed is at 600, and the fuel lines are new. Thank you again gentleman, I appreciate it!:c:
